HB3001-008 HoseBox D.O.T. Hose Connection Fitting Pack

Some air-brake hose repairs call for a connection that can be assembled without bringing a crimping machine to the job. HB3001-008 addresses that situation with 12 reusable brass hose-end fittings for D.O.T. air-brake hose applications.

The assortment includes reusable screw-type hose-end fittings and swivel connectors in 3/8" and 1/2" sizes. Their reusable connection format allows assembly without a crimping tool, an important distinction from many other air-brake fitting assortments.

The fittings meet or exceed SAE J1131 and FMVSS 106 requirements and are organized in a 5" x 8" x 2" IP68-rated waterproof and dustproof case.

Available through Union Hydraulics, HB3001-008 gives mobile service technicians and repair shops a compact way to keep reusable D.O.T. hose connections on hand rather than treating them as an occasional special-order item.
