Spring-Loaded Check Valves for Reliable Backflow Control

Spring check valves use an internal spring to help close the valve when forward flow stops or pressure reverses. This design provides positive automatic shutoff and can be used in piping and equipment where preventing reverse flow is important to system operation and component protection.

Y-Spring, 1-Piece and 2-Piece Check Valves

Available designs include Y-pattern spring check valves, compact 1-piece valves, and 2-piece barrel-type configurations. Stainless-steel construction is available throughout much of the collection, including 316 stainless-steel models for applications requiring additional corrosion resistance.

Threaded configurations include FPT, FNPT, FNPT-to-FNPT, and MNPT-to-FNPT connections, with nominal sizes ranging from 1/4 inch through 2 inches depending on valve style.

Choosing the Right Spring Check Valve

Before ordering, verify nominal size, connection type, body material, pressure rating, cracking pressure, operating temperature, seal material, and media compatibility. Cracking pressure is especially important because it determines the minimum upstream pressure required to begin opening the valve.
