These welded, double-acting loader hydraulic cylinders from Magister Hydraulics are designed for mobile equipment and machinery where a compact cross-tube-mounted cylinder is required. Available bore sizes range from 1.75" to 2.5", with multiple stroke lengths to match common loader and attachment geometries.

Typical applications include front-end loaders, skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, telehandlers, material-handling equipment and other hydraulic machinery. These are dimension-based replacement cylinders rather than model-specific OEM replacements, so the correct cylinder should be selected by comparing the bore, stroke, pin size, port size and mounting dimensions with the cylinder being replaced.

Welded Double-Acting Design

All six configurations use welded construction, cross-tube mounting ends and a hard-chrome-plated rod. The cylinders are double acting, providing hydraulic force in both extension and retraction, and are rated for operating pressures up to 3,500 PSI.

The 1.75" bore cylinders use a 1" rod, 1" mounting pins and SAE 6 ports. The 2" bore versions step up to a 1.25" rod and 1.25" pins while retaining SAE 6 ports. The 2.5" bore cylinders use a 1.5" rod, 1.25" pins and SAE 8 ports.

How to Select the Correct Loader Cylinder

Do not choose a replacement by bore and stroke alone. Before ordering, compare the existing cylinder's retracted length, extended length, rod diameter, pin diameter, mounting width and hydraulic port size. Matching these dimensions is especially important on loader linkages where a small difference in closed length or pin geometry can affect bucket or lift-arm travel.
