A 4-inch bore moves the BMF cross tube line into higher-force applications. This series combines substantial piston area with a wide stroke selection, making it useful when a loader, industrial mechanism or mobile attachment needs more push capability from the available hydraulic pressure.

• Mounting: Welded cross-tube end mounts

• Tube: High-tensile honed cold-drawn steel
• Rod: Ground and polished hard-chrome-plated steel
• Sealing: Five-component compact sealing system with polyurethane rod seal and wiper

The double-acting design provides powered movement in both directions, while the welded cross-tube ends create a durable pin connection for mechanisms that pivot through their cycle. Applications can include construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling and custom fabricated systems.

Choosing the Correct Cylinder

Do not substitute a 4-inch bore cylinder solely because the stroke matches. Check the machine pressure, rod-side load requirements, mounting dimensions, pin size, hydraulic ports and closed/extended lengths to make sure the replacement matches the application.
