Shop cross tube hydraulic cylinders from BMF Hydraulics in bore sizes from 1.5" through 6", with stroke lengths available from 4" to 60" depending on bore size. These welded, double-acting hydraulic cylinders use cross-tube mounts at both ends to provide a strong pin-mounted connection for mobile equipment and machinery.
Cross tube cylinders are commonly used on agricultural equipment, loaders, material-handling systems, construction equipment, forestry machinery, trailers and custom hydraulic applications. The welded steel end mounts allow the cylinder to pivot with the equipment linkage as it extends and retracts.
Choosing the Right Cross Tube Hydraulic Cylinder
Start by matching the bore and stroke of the cylinder required for your application. Bore size determines the piston area and directly affects the amount of force the cylinder can produce at a given hydraulic pressure. Stroke determines the total travel of the rod.
For replacement applications, also verify the rod diameter, pin diameter, mounting width, hydraulic port size, retracted length and extended length. Two cylinders with the same bore and stroke are not necessarily interchangeable if the mounting geometry or ports are different.
Cross Tube Cylinder Sizes
Available bore sizes include 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", 5" and 6". Stroke availability varies by bore size, with options ranging from 4" through 60". The cylinders use welded construction, honed cold-drawn steel tubing, hard-chrome-plated rods and are designed for operating pressures up to 3,500 PSI.
